The Carlton Hotel Galway City (formerly Days Hotel Galway) is located 5 minutes from Galway City Centre. Galway City is a vibrant city well known for it's great shopping and good food. Just outside Galway City lies Salthill, which is full of activities from sailing, golfing and diving. With a great nightlife of dancing, concerts, funfairs, festivals and much more. The Superior Rooms are spacious and bright, contemporary in design, and offer that touch of luxury for your stay. The come in a choice of King, Twin or Interconnecting Rooms. The family rooms have all the amenities of our Superior Rooms and consist of a double bed and single bed. A rollaway bed or cot can be added for a 2nd child but Cot blankets are not provided. Alternatively for a longer stay you can avail of our luxurious Family Suites. Family Suites are available in one or two bedroom combinations and are ideal for a family break away. The suite contains a large living and dining area and kitchenette with plenty of extra space for the family to enjoy. A one bedroom suite consists of a bedroom with a double and single bed. A two bedroom suite contains an additional adjoining bedroom with a king size bed. The suite has a sofa bed and we can provide cots free of charge.
Decorated in vibrant hues of rich ruby red, the mixture of velvet, chiffon and dark woods of Rueben's restaurant, adds a touch of elegance to your stay creating an ambiance only surpassed by the fine food and warm service. With a Buffet Breakfast served from 7.30am to 11am, choose from a delicious array of pastries, cereals, yoghurts, cheeses and fruit or a hearty Full Irish Breakfast. In the evening, Dinner is served from 6.30pm - 9pm and our menus have been thoughtfully designed to offer you the best of traditional Irish fare, in a relaxed and contemporary setting.
Bar Solo is alive with chatter, offering live entertainment most weekends. With an excellent team of staff, we are proud of our renowned friendly service, guaranteeing a relaxed atmosphere for our customers. Whether the agenda is business or pleasure, the bar is an ideal place to meet. Carvery Lunch is available from 12.30pm - 2.30pm daily and our evening menu is available from 3pm - 9pm Sunday to Thursday and 3pm - 8.30pm Friday & Saturday.
