Converted from Queen Anne stables in 1798 Rathsallagh is a
large 4-star Grade A country house set in 530 acres of
peaceful parkland with its own walled garden — all
surrounded by the magnificent Rathsallagh Golf Club.
We are perfectly located central to some of the most
beautiful countryside in eastern Ireland. Rathsallagh House is a Queen Anne stables converted into living accommodation after the original house was burnt out during the rebellion of 1798. Today there are 31 bedrooms at Rathsallagh, all en-suite and all individually named and decorated. |

in operation it was officially listed in the top 30 (out of
over 350) of Ireland's Greatest Golf Courses of 1997. Perfect for your ideal Wedding, Rathsallagh also has superb conference facilities, and is ideal for the corporate group who want to take over a small hotel in its entirety. In addition, Rathsallagh has all the sport and leisure facilities associated with a great country house hotel. In addition, we have a three bedroom house available, the Eagle Lodge, located at the main entrance to the Golf Club. |

The food at Rathsallagh has been described as New Irish
Country House cooking though it is much more international
than that. We have a brigade of young and enthusiastic chefs
in our kitchen who are constantly seeking to improve the
variety and style of our menus. Most of the produce, vegetables, herbs and salad greens used in our kitchen are produced organically in Rathsallagh's gardens, while the balance is provided by local producers. Recommended by international good food and hotel guides Rathsallagh is also a member of Ireland's prestigious Blue Book.
